Testo Service Terms & Conditions

  1. Standard Terms & Conditions

    All prices are subject to VAT. Service Plans available on all domestic & commercial flue gas analysers, as listed on our website. Carriage is not included. Testo Limited will not be held liable for late deliveries, loss of work due or time without equipment. Parts cover available (includes accidental damage) for the analyser and probe only, cover paid for in advance, also includes wearable parts.

    Misuse and abuse not covered, fair usage policy applies. No other service options are available for devices which fall into the relevant age brackets, further information can be found at https://www.testo.com/en-UK/services/flue-gas-analyser-service. Flue Gas Analyser devices which have missed the next calibration by 6 months or greater, may be subject to a late surcharge. In these cases, the following years price will be charged. Testo 330LL/300LL missing "Year 5" will be subject to itemised quotation/billing. Those FGA’s which fall outside of our advertised plans will be subject to itemized quotation/billing. Please send us your devices yearly on time as recommended.

    For Testo Manifolds, we operate two levels of service & calibration. Tier 1 covering calibration only, Tier 2 capping labour to a cost of £20 additional. No spare parts are included. Pre & post results are available upon request at additional charge.

2. Terms of Quotation

Where it is not possible for a copy of your purchase order to be supplied with your device and where it is not applicable for any of our advertised service plans, a quotation will be provided.

Please ensure you clearly reference our “Quotation number” on all correspondence to avoid unnecessary delays.

If during any service and / or calibration we find additional parts are required, at charge, that have not yet been quoted, Testo Limited will contact to discuss before proceeding with any further work. If Accidental cover has been pre-paid, we will automatically fit covered parts as required.

Testo Limited normally operate a next day courier service for the United Kingdom (Excluding highands). However, this service is not guaranteed. Express and timed delivery options are available on request. (An additional charge may apply). We will not be held responsible for any damages caused by couriers other than our own.

Testo Limited applies a minimum handling charge of £28.00 ex VAT for service and calibration estimates which are declined or where the quotation value is less than the minimum handling charge, which covers the necessary handling and processing of your items.

If Testo Limited does not receive a response to our quotation within 4 weeks we reserve the right to return the equipment in its original received condition.

Testo Limited standard terms and conditions apply.

Testo will not be held responsible for unpaid import taxes to Republic of Ireland, if goods are abandoned due to unpaid fees, no replacement will be available.

All quotations are valid for 30 days.

  1. UPS Collection

    Testo Limited offers a collection service for incoming Domestic & Commercial flue gas analysers. A collection label can be requested via go.testo.com/collect.. Further instruction will be provided after submitting your form.

    If at any time you require the UPS schedule a collection guide, it can be found here.

    You must ensure that all goods are packaged well and include paperwork to allows to locate your account, Testo limited will not be held liable for any goods damage by insufficient packaging.

     

    If you do book a collection, please ensure someone is present at the collection address to hand over the package to UPS. If access is restricted for any reason, this could lead to a failed collection. By using this service, you are agreeing to our terms & conditions, which can be found below. Testo limited will not be held liable due to failed collections or deliveries.

    Collections & Return from UK (Not including Highlands) are costed at £20, this includes shipping, packaging & limited cover. As part of this service, goods found to be lost or damaged by our courier will be covered, by means of repair firstly or replacement, if necessary, up to a value of £2,000. No replacement is available above this value, there is an insurance option for your collection, 1% of declared value. Please contact us on 01420 544433 option 1 if you wish to do this.

    Testo will not be held responsible for unpaid import taxes to Republic of Ireland, if goods are abandoned due to unpaid fees, no replacement will be available.

  2. Accidental Cover Option

    The Accidental Cover Option is £45 excluding VAT and covers the cost of all parts for an instrument (excluding sensors as covered in service plans). Furthermore, the following points can be considered;

    • The accidental damage charge excludes misuse and abuse.

    • Fair Wear & Tear is covered which may include any cosmetic repairs if deemed necessary.

    • Repairs or modifications which are undertaken by unauthorised persons will not be covered.

    • This cover is limited to the hand unit and to the probe only. Cones & Screws are included if lost, once per year only

    • Covers all shipping costs (Effectively minimum £20 saving)

  3. Express/ Fast Track Service

    Although we generally maintain an average turnaround (excluding shipping) of 2 working days, there is the option for our customers to request an Express 24-hour service for an additional £40.00. This means the job will be given priority and completed and dispatched within the next working day, provided we have your PO/Payment before 12:00 the day after receipt of your goods. 

    Testo Limited will make every effort to provide the Fast Track Service. In the instance where the express service has not been met the express fee will be refunded only.

    We do operate a drop-in service, which many customers use. 3-Hour turn around is £50 additional, we will be more than happy to help.

  4. Pricing after Service Matrix Plans Expire

    Testo Limited will apply our standard service prices when an instrument is no longer applicable for our advertised service plans.

    Standard prices are available upon request.
