Internal Sales Support - Job Description
The Company
Testo Limited, based in Alton, Hampshire is a world leader in the supply of test and measurement instrumentation as well as customer specific measurement and monitoring solutions.
Responsibility:
- Order Income for assigned customers in the Instrumentation Division
- Effective sales lead conversion
- Systematic sales increase with potential customers
Main Tasks:
- Consult with customers by phone with the objective of generating orders
- Contact potential customers by phone to develop their sales
- Input of customer information into CRM system in an accurate and timely manner
- Responding to completed customer web forms and incoming emailed enquiries
- Lead follow up (sending of brochures, creation of quotations including follow up in a specific time frame)
- First level contact person for customers in terms of customer relationship management
- Participate in Telemarketing Campaigns
- Ensure that details of follow ups and quotations are regularly passed to the External Sales Team and updated into CRM system
- Provide customers with technical product advice, IT assistance, training and support both pre and post sale.
- Work closely and provide support to the Sales Order Processing team, Product Manager and External Sales Team.
- Deal effectively with customer complaints and problems.
- Attend exhibitions as required.
Experience Required:
- Sales experience (Sales technique, product knowledge within Instrumentation would be an advantage)
- Technical knowledge in areas such as temperature, humidity, airflow, pressure and indoor air quality type applications would be an advantage.
- CRM,SAP and Microsoft application experience.
- Attention to detail
- Proven telephone customer service skills
