Distribution Sales Support

Reports to: Executive VP of Operations

Division: Sales

Location: Sparta, NJ

Position Overview

Maintaining customer satisfaction is the primary goal of this position by responding to inquiries, helping with issues, and providing updates on requests.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Accurately process orders received into SAP software. 
  • Makes sure that quotes are processed in a timely manner.
  • Follows up on distributor orders to ensure delivery by specified dates.
  • Keep customers informed by confirming and clarifying orders, communicating expected delivery date, and explaining back-order delays. 
  • Resolves Customer complaints 
  • Answers questions from customers or individuals on how a product operates or directs them to the person that can assist them. 
  • Understanding customer product needs and requirements by maintaining product application, and technical knowledge by reviewing professional publications; continuous training with Product Manager; attending educational workshops and online-academy training.
  • Interact with Outside Sales and other support staff to facilitate customer growth.
  • Inbound Lead follow-up in CRM
  • Live Chat Support on Corporate website.

  • Present a professional image of yourself and the company always to both internal and external customers.
  • Meet the ongoing needs of the organization; this job description is not intended to be all inclusive. Employee may perform other related duties as negotiated.

Education and Training:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Continued Education a Plus
  • Previous sales, customer service and data entry experience of 3 Years required
  • SAP and CRM Experience a plus or similar software application
  • Mid-Level Experience of Microsoft Office 365 required
