Testo has an opportunity for an Solution Services Lead to support our Solutions Division.

Reports to: President

Location: West Chester, PA

Position Overview:  The primary goal of this position is to implement and lead the deployment of Testo products and solutions in the Retail, Hospitality, and Pharma markets.  The ideal candidate will have experience working with, Hospitality Operations at both the Corporate and Franchisee Levels; Retail Operations in Supermarkets and Convenience Stores and have a familiarity of the Pharmaceutical industries.

Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Expand upon and implement deployment and service delivery strategy of all Testo Solutions products in the North America market.
  • Manage team of Project Managers responsible for the implementation of customer-specific programs.
  • Manage the North American participation in Global Help Desk Services.
  • Manage direct Engineers and Third-Party Services retained for the Installation and Field Service of Customer locations.
  • Manage the development and implementation of all Product Training Assets and Programs.
  • Assist in the development of pricing models for deployment and recurring service delivery opportunities.
  • Present status reports on a weekly, monthly, and/or quarterly basis.
  • Assist in the response of RFI’s/RFP’s, assist in the development of quotations for opportunities as they are identified.
  • Travel includes customer visits as necessary, occasional travel to tradeshows, attendance at required meetings at Corporate HQ in Germany.

Education:

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Systems Engineering
  • Master’s Degree Preferred
  • PMP Certification Required or must be attained within 6 months of hire date

Experience Level:

  • Required Minimum 10-15 years in solution deployment in Retail, Hospitality, and Pharma markets.
  • Experience working with Corporate level operations.

Product Specialist – Instrumentation Division

Testo has an opportunity for a Product Specialist to support our Instrumentation Division

Location: West Chester, PA

Target Start Date:  Immediately

Position Overview: The Product Specialist is responsible for planning and supporting products and applications. This includes managing the product throughout the product lifecycle, gathering and prioritizing product, application, regulatory, as well as customer requirements and defining the product vision.  It also includes developing training strategies for salespeople, and customers.  It requires providing technical support; to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met.

Essential Functions:

Oversee products in the market:

  • Ensure technical appropriateness through communication and feedback with local staff, and division staff at Testo, AG
  • Ensure technical performance and functionality of products (including software) via ongoing testing, evaluation, and review
  • Monitoring product performance through the service department and providing feedback pertaining to quality issues, customer problems, or general product improvements
  • Ensure proper documentation of delivered products including manuals, quick start guides, country of origin documentation, compliance with safety requirements, certification of performance and any other documentation necessary to support product success
  • Working with the Sales Unit Managers to determine customer or user requirements and presentations
  • Providing product positioning training and materials for inside sales department and Regional Sales Managers
  • Creating marketing collateral like case studies, data sheets, whitepapers, FAQ, feature or benefit sheets and so on
  • Visit potential or existing Customers with Outside Sales personnel and/or Business Unit Manager to provide technical information for demanding applications
  • Develop meaningful working specifications for new products through market research, application review, and competitive review
  • Ensure product applicability and correctness for US market starting with market research, and continuing through the configuration and launch phase
  • Ensure proper documentation of planned products including manuals, quick start guides, country of origin documentation, compliance with safety requirements, certification of performance and any other documentation necessary to support product success
  • Provide ideas, insight, and input for new products and applications for products

Maintains professional and technical knowledge through work experience, by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies

  • Has a thorough technical understanding of company’s product line and their uses
  • Has a thorough technical understanding of industry applications for related products
  • Monitoring national guidelines and if necessary, influencing relevant national guidelines through lobbying

Position Overview: While reporting to the VP of Sales and Marketing, this outbound sales position offers a unique opportunity to sell cutting edge software and IoT devices into the restaurant and retail food service markets.  Our unique capabilities enable clients to realize immediate benefits and improve their business.

Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Compiles lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads, based on information from newspapers, business directories, industry ads, trade shows, Internet Web sites, and other sources
  • Uses creativity and determination to identify ideal targets, set appointments, and sell the system
  • Meets established quotas for the small and medium enterprise market
  • Positions or demonstrates products through presentations and web conferencing
  • Develops written proposals for motivated prospects
  • Quotes prices, credit terms and prepares sales contracts for orders
  • Assist in the preparation of meetings, conference calls and presentations, both internal and external
  • Work with VP of Sales to develop written cold calling scripts for use on the phone, LinkedIn messaging, and emailing prospects

  • Obtain Market Share Growth: By engaging with prospects to document their needs, fulfill their needs with Testo products and services, while addressing competitive forces.

Education and Training: College degree in Business, Marketing, Communication or related field with a strong interest in Sales or Account Manager career

Position Overview: Ensures the growth and stability of sales products in assigned territory by working with present and potential channels of distribution and customers.

Essential Functions:

  1. Strategy Planning: Determines and sets a sale and goals strategy plan for the territory consistent with company objectives and mutually agreed upon with manager.
  2. Implements Territory Planning: Executes on the territory plan and provides a key account report providing status and possible changes to the plan.
  3. Provides Distribution Management: Set strategy meetings with distributors and/or key accounts for mutually agreed upon goals and plans.
  4. Obtains Market Share: by helping developing marketing plans and programs for each product, directing promotional support.
  5. Contributes to Market Effectiveness: Execution of territory management relative to product, customer and distributor focus are consistent with company marketing strategies.
  6. Completes Sales Department Operational requirements:
    - Making and reporting at least the minimum required number of sales visits monthly.
    - Submission of up to date key account reports.
    - Submission of current distribution strategy sheets.
    - Timely follow-up on leads and distribution lead reports.
  7. Achieves Financial Obligations:
    - Helping develop and reaches approved sales targets by sales group, and territory.
    - Provides support for quarterly progress reports.
    - Works with sales team to reach sales goals.
  8. Develops Product and Application Knowledge to effectively perform product demonstrations and technical presentations.
  9. Contributes to Sales Effectiveness by identifying short-term and long-range issues that must be addressed, providing information and commentary pertinent to negotiations, recommending options and courses of actions, implementing directives.
  10. Maintains relations with customers by organizing and developing customer relations programs; determining company presence at conventions; annual meetings, trade associations, and seminars.
  11. Maintain market information, competitive information, and product applications relevant to your territory.
  12. Remains current and proficiently demonstrates key products and is knowledgeable of the entire product line to communicate the primary features of our products.
  13. Remains current and can adequately demonstrate knowledge of applications where key products are used.

Education and Training:  4 Year College Degree in Sales/Marketing or another related field preferred. Minimum of two (2) years of sales of instrumentation or related equipment or high-level sales support and account management environment.

Skills: Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics including product knowledge requirements. Proven ability to interact effectively with executive level and industry/segment professional organizations both internally and externally. Entrepreneurial attitude, leadership ability and ability to be a team player at all levels.  Impeccable oral and written communication and presentation skills.

Other: Ability to travel a minimum of 60%. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.  Use Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system to manage assigned customers.

Location: Sparta, NJ

Reports to: Vice President

Target Start Date: Immediately

Position Overview: Verifies and keeps records on incoming and outgoing shipments and prepares items for shipment: Compares identifying information and counts, weighs, or measures items of incoming and outgoing shipments to verify information against bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other records.

Essential Functions:

  • Receives Items by unloading vehicles; accepting deliveries; unpacking containers.
  • Determines method of shipment, utilizing knowledge of shipping procedures, routes, and rates.
  • Verifies items received by inspecting condition of items; comparing count/measure of items to purchase order and packing list; noting discrepancies.
  • Documents Items Received by recording identifying information.
  • Transfers Orders Received by routing or delivering items to requesting department.
  • Replaces damaged items and shortages or obtains credit by informing shipper and transporter of damage or shortage; returning damaged items; requesting new items or credit for shortages.
  • Receives Credit-Return Materials from Production by verifying identifying information and quantity of materials, placing materials in inventory.
  • Ships Items by verifying identifying information and quantity and condition of items; loading and protecting items.
  • Documents Items Shipped by recording identifying information of items and transport information.
  • Receives Returned Goods and Verifies Customer’s Reason for Return by studying accompanying correspondence, inspecting goods. Performs documentation of returned goods by entering data into order-tracking system.
  • Maintains Shipping and Receiving Materials by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed materials; placing and expediting orders for materials; verifying receipt of materials.
