Testo has an opportunity for an Solution Services Lead to support our Solutions Division.

Reports to: President

Location: West Chester, PA

Position Overview:  The primary goal of this position is to implement and lead the deployment of Testo products and solutions in the Retail, Hospitality, and Pharma markets.  The ideal candidate will have experience working with, Hospitality Operations at both the Corporate and Franchisee Levels; Retail Operations in Supermarkets and Convenience Stores and have a familiarity of the Pharmaceutical industries.

Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Expand upon and implement deployment and service delivery strategy of all Testo Solutions products in the North America market.
  • Manage team of Project Managers responsible for the implementation of customer-specific programs.
  • Manage the North American participation in Global Help Desk Services.
  • Manage direct Engineers and Third-Party Services retained for the Installation and Field Service of Customer locations.
  • Manage the development and implementation of all Product Training Assets and Programs.
  • Assist in the development of pricing models for deployment and recurring service delivery opportunities.
  • Present status reports on a weekly, monthly, and/or quarterly basis.
  • Assist in the response of RFI’s/RFP’s, assist in the development of quotations for opportunities as they are identified.
  • Travel includes customer visits as necessary, occasional travel to tradeshows, attendance at required meetings at Corporate HQ in Germany.

Education:

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Systems Engineering
  • Master’s Degree Preferred
  • PMP Certification Required or must be attained within 6 months of hire date

Experience Level:

  • Required Minimum 10-15 years in solution deployment in Retail, Hospitality, and Pharma markets.
  • Experience working with Corporate level operations.

Junior Regional Account Manager (Northeast / Mid-Atlantic) – Instrumentation Division

Territory: Northeast / Mid Atlantic

Division: HVAC/R (Instrumentation)

Reports to: Vice President of Sales and Marketing, Instrumentation Division

Position Overview: Ensures the growth and stability of sales products in assigned territory by working with present and potential channels of distribution and customers.

Essential Functions:

  1. Strategy Planning: Determines and sets a sale and goals strategy plan for the territory consistent with company objectives and mutually agreed upon with manager.
  2. Implements Territory Planning: Executes on the territory plan and provides a key account report providing status and possible changes to the plan.
  3. Provides Distribution Management: Set strategy meetings with distributors and/or key accounts for mutually agreed upon goals and plans.
  4. Contributes to Market Effectiveness: Execution of territory management relative to product, customer and distributor focus are consistent with company marketing strategies.
  5. Completes Sales Department Operational requirements:
    - Making and reporting at least the minimum required number of sales visits monthly.
    - Submission of up to date key account reports.
    - Submission of current distribution strategy sheets.
    - Timely follow-up on leads and distribution lead reports.
  6. Achieves Financial Obligations:
    - Helping develop and reaches approved sales targets by sales group, and territory.
    - Provides support for quarterly progress reports.
    - Works with sales team to reach sales goals.
  7. Develops Product and Application Knowledge to effectively perform product demonstrations and technical presentations.
  8. Contributes to Sales Effectiveness by identifying short-term and long-range issues that must be addressed, providing information and commentary pertinent to negotiations, recommending options and courses of actions, implementing directives.
  9. Maintains relations with customers by organizing and developing customer relations programs; determining company presence at conventions; annual meetings, trade associations, and seminars.
  10. Maintain market information, competitive information, and product applications relevant to your territory.
  11. Remains current and proficiently demonstrates key products and is knowledgeable of the entire product line to communicate the primary features of our products.
  12. Remains current and can adequately demonstrate knowledge of applications where key products are used.

Education and Training:  4 Year College Degree in Sales/Marketing or another related field preferred. Minimum of two (2) years of sales of instrumentation or related equipment or sales support and account management environment.

Skills: Basic understanding of customer and market dynamics including product knowledge requirements.  Ability to be a team player at all levels.  Good oral and written communication and presentation skills.

Other: Ability to travel a minimum of 60%. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.  Use Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system to manage assigned customers.

Compensation: Base Salary, Commission (no cap), MBO

Reports to: Vice President

Target Start Date: Immediately

Position Overview: Verifies and keeps records on incoming and outgoing shipments and prepares items for shipment: Compares identifying information and counts, weighs, or measures items of incoming and outgoing shipments to verify information against bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other records.

Essential Functions:

  • Receives Items by unloading vehicles; accepting deliveries; unpacking containers.
  • Determines method of shipment, utilizing knowledge of shipping procedures, routes, and rates.
  • Verifies items received by inspecting condition of items; comparing count/measure of items to purchase order and packing list; noting discrepancies.
  • Documents Items Received by recording identifying information.
  • Transfers Orders Received by routing or delivering items to requesting department.
  • Replaces damaged items and shortages or obtains credit by informing shipper and transporter of damage or shortage; returning damaged items; requesting new items or credit for shortages.
  • Receives Credit-Return Materials from Production by verifying identifying information and quantity of materials, placing materials in inventory.
  • Ships Items by verifying identifying information and quantity and condition of items; loading and protecting items.
  • Documents Items Shipped by recording identifying information of items and transport information.
  • Receives Returned Goods and Verifies Customer’s Reason for Return by studying accompanying correspondence, inspecting goods. Performs documentation of returned goods by entering data into order-tracking system.
  • Maintains Shipping and Receiving Materials by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed materials; placing and expediting orders for materials; verifying receipt of materials.

Reports to: Vice President

As a Service Technician, your day to day duties will consist of and may not be limited to:

  • Receives phone calls and emails regarding service issues. Enters customer and account data by inputting alphabetic and numeric information according to screen format and company guidelines.
  • Evaluates and Repairs units as received.
  • Prepares Quotations by studying customer needs and requests.
  • Assists customers with technical support by phone and/or email.
  • Keeps customers informed by confirming and clarifying orders; noting shipping.
  • Developing and maintaining positive interpersonal relations with other department personnel.
  • Utilizes company operating and communications procedures for efficiency of these processes, and to stay current as these processes change.
  • Utilizes company resources in an efficient and productive manner.
  • Maintaining a safe, clean, and efficient work atmosphere in accordance with policies and procedures.
  • Follow Company Policies and Procedures as presented in the Employee Handbook.
  • Present a professional image at all times to internal and external customers.
