 Regional Sales Manager – HVAC West Territory (Remote Position)

Testo has an opportunity for a Regional Sales Manager to support our HVAC/R Instrumentation Division.

Position: Regional Sales Manager - HVAC/R

Division: HVAC/R Territory: WEST (WA, OR, MT, WY, ID, CA, NV, UT, CO, AZ, NM, AK, HI)

Position Overview: Insures the growth and maintenance of sales products in assigned territory by working with present and potential channels of distribution, reps, and customers.

Essential Functions:

  • Strategy Planning: Determines and sets a sales and goals strategy plan for the territory consistent with company objectives and mutually agreed upon with sales manager.
  • Implements Territory Planning: Executes on the territory plan and provides a key account report providing status and possible changes to the plan.
  • Provides Distribution Management: Set strategy meetings with distributors and/or key accounts for mutually agreed upon goals and plans.
  • Obtains Market Share: by helping developing marketing plans and programs for each product, directing promotional support.
  • Contributes to Market Effectiveness: Execution of territory management relative to product, customer and distributor focus are consistent with company marketing strategies.
  • Completes Sales Department Operational requirements:
    - Making and reporting at least the minimum required number of sales visits monthly.
    - Submission of up to date key account reports.
    - Submission of current distribution strategy sheets.
    - Timely follow-up on leads and distribution lead reports.
  • Achieves Financial Obligations:
    - Helping develop and reaches approved sales targets by sales group, and territory
    - Provides support for quarterly progress reports
    - Works with sales team to reach sales goals
  • Develops product and application knowledge to effectively perform product demonstrations and technical presentations.
  • Contributes to Sales effectiveness by identifying short-term and long range issues that must be addressed, providing information and commentary pertinent to deliberations, recommending options and courses of actions; implementing directives.
  • Maintains relations with customers by organizing and developing customer relations programs; determining company presence at conventions; annual meetings, trade associations, and seminars.
  • Maintain market information, competitive information, and product applications relevant to your territory.
  • Remains current and proficiently demonstrates key products and is knowledgeable of the entire product line to communicate the primary features of our products.
  • Remains current and can adequately demonstrate knowledge of applications where key products are used.

 

Education and Training: 5 + years of experience in HVAC sales. Bachelor’s degree in business administration or equivalent experience. Instrumentation experience a plus.

Skills: Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics including product knowledge requirements. Willingness to travel and work in a global team of professionals. Proven leadership and ability to drive sales. Impeccable oral and written communication and presentation skills.

Other: Ability to travel a minimum of 60%.  Valid driver's license with a clean driving record required.

Solutions Services Lead - Solutions Division

 

Reports to: President

Location: West Chester, PA

Position Overview:  The primary goal of this position is to implement and lead the deployment of Testo products and solutions in the Retail, Hospitality, and Pharma markets.  The ideal candidate will have experience working with, Hospitality Operations at both the Corporate and Franchisee Levels; Retail Operations in Supermarkets and Convenience Stores and have a familiarity of the Pharmaceutical industries.

Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Expand upon and implement deployment and service delivery strategy of all Testo Solutions products in the North America market.
  • Manage team of Project Managers responsible for the implementation of customer-specific programs.
  • Manage the North American participation in Global Help Desk Services.
  • Manage direct Engineers and Third-Party Services retained for the Installation and Field Service of Customer locations.
  • Manage the development and implementation of all Product Training Assets and Programs.
  • Assist in the development of pricing models for deployment and recurring service delivery opportunities.
  • Present status reports on a weekly, monthly, and/or quarterly basis.
  • Assist in the response of RFI’s/RFP’s, assist in the development of quotations for opportunities as they are identified.
  • Travel includes customer visits as necessary, occasional travel to tradeshows, attendance at required meetings at Corporate HQ in Germany.

Education:

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Systems Engineering
  • Master’s Degree Preferred
  • PMP Certification Required or must be attained within 6 months of hire date

Experience Level:

  • Required Minimum 10-15 years in solution deployment in Retail, Hospitality, and Pharma markets.
  • Experience working with Corporate level operations.

Validation Manager, Solutions

Testo has an opportunity for a Validation Manager to support our Solutions Division

Location: West Chester, PA

Target Start Date:  Immediately


Position Overview: The Validation Manager will be responsible for Subject Matter Expertise, protocol creation and implementation of all customer engagements within the Pharma, Life Science and Cold Chain markets. Activities will include validation, qualification and thermal mappings related to manufacturing, chambers, warehouse/storage and Cold Chain distribution.

Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to: 

  • Develop and implement mapping and validation projects and other studies (IQ/OQ/PQ) for passive and active shippers, warehouses, and manufacturing locations.
  • Provide technical expertise to the development of protocols, assist in RFP responses.
  • Visit customer locations to install/deploy equipment, software, or other project requirements.
  • Make recommendations to end users based on data analysis and findings.
  • Ability to travel to customer sites as needed, occasional travel to Germany (1-2X per year) for training purposes.


Qualifications:

 

  • 3- 5 years of related experience in validation or engineering within a pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device, or related industry.
  • Working knowledge of GxP requirements and other regulations, including 21CFR Part 11, Good Automated Manufacturing Practice (GAMP5), USP, FDA, and other current industry practices
  • Understanding of data collection tools, data and statistical analysis, and project management.
  • BS degree required; MBA preferred.
