The kit comprises an 11° x 9° telephoto and a wide range of accessories that ensure you are properly kitted out!

Give in-depth energy advice; analyse building envelopes at a glance; check solar panel systems while they are being serviced, installed or repaired. Carry out checks on electrical systems; make critical temperatures on circuit boards visible and perform precise measurements at temperatures as high as 2,192 °F. In electrical installations or cables, increased temperatures are always an indication of an overload, an imminent malfunction or an existing defect. Testo thermal imagers facilitate evaluation of the heat status of low, medium and high-voltage systems. Monitoring and checking solar energy systems

There are two main reasons for inspecting solar energy systems: safety and performance monitoring. Solar energy systems achieve their top performance in full sunshine. Testo thermal imagers can be used to monitor photovoltaic systems of all sizes in a way that is wide-ranging, contact-free and exceptionally efficient. Malfunctions are detected, the proper functioning of all components is ensured and the greatest possible efficiency is thus achieved. Providing comprehensive energy advice

In building thermography, infrared technology is particularly suitable for quick and effective analysis of energy losses in buildings’ heating or air conditioning systems. Thanks to their high temperature resolution, Testo thermal imagers provide detailed images of inadequate insulation and thermal bridges. They are ideal for the recording and documentation of energy losses on outer windows and doors, roller blind casings, radiator niches, in roof structures or the entire building shell. Making it possible to see critical temperatures on circuit boards precisely

In the field of research and development, thermal imagers are also used for the targeted analysis of temperature distribution, e. g. on circuit boards. Electronic components on circuit boards are getting smaller and smaller – thus increasing the challenges with regard to heat dissipation. Only premium-quality thermal imagers with a really fine geometric resolution are suitable for this task. Whether in glass bottle manufacturing, ceramics or tile production: Wherever hot materials are processed, quality can suffer if machines and conveyor belts are not suitably heated. Testo thermal imagers allow you to test the exact temperatures from a safe distance. The thermal imagers testo 885 and testo 890, with high thermal resolution, measure up to 650 °C (optionally 1200 °C possible).

Operation does not need to be interrupted for the measurement. Apart from this, practical features help you in on-site evaluation: Thanks to area marking, min./max. temperatures from up to 5 marked areas are shown. And you can display up to 10 measurement points.

Maintenance: Checking hot furnaces and ladles

In industrial maintenance, thermal imagers are excellent for measuring high temperatures from a safe distance. This allows you to identify wear, damaged insulation and coking on furnaces and ladles. The thermal imagers testo 885 and testo 890 measure up to 650 °C – optionally even up to 1200 °C.

Thanks to the panorama image assistant, even large furnaces and machines can be recorded completely (ideal for rotary kilns in cement production). The software IRSoft for the evaluation of the images, and the process analysis package for recording thermal developments (optional), are also practical.

Reliable high temperature measurement

Testo thermal imagers adapt to the requirements for applications with high scene temperatures. With the high temperature option, the measuring range can be flexibly extended up to 550 °C . The high-contrast presentation on the display is achieved via the high-temperature iron HT colour palette or the special histogram adjustment.
