Pipe wrap probe (Pt100) – equipment and areas of application
Use the fixed cable to connect the pipe wrap probe to the measuring instrument (please order separately).The pipe wrap probe is designed for measuring the surface temperature of pipes (pipe diameters from 6 to 120 mm). The Pt100 sensor for temperature measurement is attached to a wide, 430 mm long strip. The Velcro fastener on this strip enables quick and easy attachment of the pipe wrap probe. This means it is for instance ideally suited for measuring the surface temperature of refrigerant pipes or for checking the flow and return temperature on heating systems.
For optimum heat transfer between the surface probe and the measurement object, we recommend using our silicone thermal conduction paste which is also available to order.
