Internal Sales Specialist - HVAC/R

The Role & Responsibilities:
As Internal Sales Specialist you will provide proactive internal sales support to the HVAC/R division, managing customer enquiries, supporting external sales colleagues, and driving revenue through effective order processing, quotation management, and customer relationship development. The role plays a key part in delivering high levels of customer service while achieving sales targets and supporting Testo UK’s growth within the HVAC/R market. Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Sales & Customer Support
Act as the first point of contact for inbound customer enquiries (telephone, email, CRM).
Prepare and follow up customer quotations, ensuring accuracy and timely responses.
Process sales orders efficiently and in line with internal procedures.
Proactively identify upselling and cross‑selling opportunities within the HVAC/R product range.
Support key accounts and assigned territories in collaboration with external sales engineers.
Relationship Management
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, ensuring a positive customer experience.
Maintain regular contact with customers to understand needs, promote products, and identify new opportunities.
Handle customer queries, complaints, and returns in a professional and customer‑focused manner.
Sales Administration & Reporting
Maintain accurate customer and sales data within CRM systems.
Monitor order progress and liaise with logistics, service, and finance teams as required.
Support sales reporting, forecasts, and KPI tracking.
Ensure all activities comply with internal policies and quality standards.
Collaboration & Product Knowledge
Work closely with Aftersales, Service, Marketing, and Finance teams to ensure seamless customer support.
Develop and maintain strong technical knowledge of HVAC/R products and applications.
Participate in product training and sales development initiatives.

The ideal candidate will be a proactive, customer-focused individual with excellent communication and organisational skills. They will have a proven track record in sales, a strong understanding of sales processes, and the ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, adaptable, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
