Moisture
Moisture inside buildings can lead to mould caused by construction defects or improper use. Testo’s patent-pending humidity image shows relative surface humidity directly in the thermal image, helping you detect mould risk early—before it becomes visible.
The calculation combines surface temperature from the thermal camera with ambient temperature and humidity data from the testo 605i, which is transmitted automatically via Bluetooth, eliminating manual data entry.
The humidity palette on Testo thermal imagers then uses a clear traffic-light principle to visualise risk zones:
Green = no risk
Amber = caution, mould formation possible
Red = WARNING! Risk of mould
