The hot wire probe (Ø 7.5 mm, digital, wired) is a high-precision thermal anemometer designed to measure flow velocity and temperature in HVAC systems. With a measurement range of 0 to +20 m/s, it is ideal for evaluating low to medium airflows in ventilation ducts, grilles, and plate outlets.

Thanks to its integrated temperature sensor and absolute pressure compensation, the probe ensures accurate, reliable readings. The slim 7.5 mm diameter probe head allows for insertion into small duct openings, while the extendable telescope (up to 820 mm) makes it easy to reach deep or hard-to-access measurement points.

This digital probe features intelligent calibration technology, where measurement data is processed directly in the probe. This design not only eliminates measurement uncertainty from the main instrument but also enables standalone probe calibration—so the base unit can remain in use while the probe is serviced.

Additionally, the probe can be hot-swapped, meaning it can be connected or replaced even while the measuring instrument is switched on, minimising downtime during field work.
