The hot wire probe (digital, wired) is a high-precision instrument designed for professional measurement of air velocity, volume flow, and air temperature in ventilation ducts. Connected via a fixed cable to a compatible testo multifunction measuring instrument (sold separately), the probe delivers reliable and accurate results thanks to its automatic absolute pressure compensation and advanced digital sensor technology.

The probe includes a telescope extendable to 0.85 m, complete with length scaling, allowing for convenient positioning and effective measurement across various duct cross-sections. Its clearly structured measurement menu makes it intuitive to use: simply input duct size and geometry to calculate volume flow quickly and precisely. The device also supports timed and multi-point average measurements, ensuring comprehensive airflow analysis.

For added durability and sensor longevity, the probe features a rotatable protective cap that shields the sensor head from dust and mechanical damage when not in use.

With the intelligent calibration concept, you only need to send the probe for calibration — not the whole instrument. This allows for continuous measurement operations with minimal downtime.
