2. When and why does Testo collect data about you?

In order to fulfill the contract, we pass on your data to the shipping company responsible for delivery, to the extent that this is necessary to deliver the ordered goods. Depending on which payment service provider you select in the ordering process, we pass on the payment data collected for this purpose to the credit institution responsible for the payment and, if applicable, the payment service provider commissioned by us, or to the selected payment service, in order to process payments.

If Testo makes advance payments, e.g. B. when purchasing on account, Testo reserves the right to obtain identity and creditworthiness information from specialized service companies - Verband der Vereine Creditreform e.V., Hellersbergstraße 12, D-41460 Neuss - or to grant certain payment modalities from the company in order to protect our legitimate interests to make it dependent on carrying out a credit check. In our newsletter we regularly inform you about our products, new products, events and promotions.
Personal service is our priority. A personal approach is important to us when presenting our products and services. For this we need your first and last name. We also offer the platform and associated services exclusively to companies. By providing your business email address and company name, it is clear that you are the right contact for us. Using the telephone number, we can contact you directly and answer initial questions immediately and therefore more effectively.
To send our newsletters that require registration, we use the so-called double opt-in procedure or single opt-in procedure (depending on the country), i.e. we will only send you a newsletter if you have previously expressly consented to us using the newsletter service should activate. In order to provide a free service or a free delivery of items, customer data relevant to processing is requested in the relevant product registration form.
Free warranty extension for selected measuring devices:
To process a free extended warranty, successful product registration is required. For this purpose, consent to receive application-specific information from Testo is mandatory. The consent to receive application-specific information from Testo must not have been revoked at the time of claiming the free warranty extension. Otherwise there is no entitlement to a free warranty extension.
For the possible processing of a free extended warranty, anonymized data will be made available to our Testo Customer Service in the product registration country and to warranty executing partners in the product registration country. They serve to check the claim for a free extended guarantee. The data transmitted is limited to:

Registration date of the measuring device
Serial number of the registered measuring device
Date of revocation of consent to receive application-specific information from Testo of the anonymized email address
They are used to electronically confirm your product registration to your email address as well as for personalized contact when sending application-specific information from Testo, such as product information and application examples.
Your data will be deleted after the extended guarantee expires or after you revoke your consent.
Please note that product registrations for the purpose of free warranty extension may take place a maximum of 30 days after purchasing the product. Our Testo Customer Services in the product registration country or warranty executing partners in the product registration country are obliged to check the claim for a free warranty extension before the warranty is fulfilled. The registration date of the submitted device may be a maximum of 30 days after the purchase date of the device. To do this, you must provide proof of purchase that clearly shows the date of purchase, as well as the registration confirmation email that will be sent after product registration has been completed. Furthermore, our Testo Customer Services in the product registration country or warranty executing partners in the product registration country check whether the consent to receive application-specific information from Testo to the email address provided during product registration has been revoked. A revocation is possible at any time by email, by post or via the unsubscribe link in every email. In the event of a revocation, however, there is no entitlement to a free warranty extension.
Free accessories for selected measuring devices:
To send a free accessory, successful product registration is required. For this purpose, consent to receive application-specific information from Testo is mandatory. Consent to receive application-specific information from Testo may be given at the time of

3. Disclosure of your Data
To the extent that external service providers are used to operate this website or to provide services by a Testo group company (hosting providers, applicant management, shipping service providers, etc.) or another Testo group company is responsible for processing, the companies in question only receive access to that extent your data as necessary to fulfill their respective tasks and functions.

4. Why does this website use cookies?
We use so-called cookies to make navigation and use of our websites as user-friendly as possible. Our website uses the Microsoft Ads analytics service, an analytics service provided by Microsoft Corporation, One Microsoft Way, Redmond, WA 98052-6399, USA; hereinafter “Microsoft Ads”.
If users visit our website, “Microsoft Ads” stores a “cookie” on the user’s device. Using “cookies” and “tracking pixels”, “Microsoft” processes the information generated by users’ devices about the use of our website and interactions with our website as well as access data (IP address, browser information, previously visited website, date and time of Server request) across devices for the purpose of displaying and analyzing personalized advertisements. 7. When will your data be deleted?
