Complaints procedure Supply Chain Due Diligence Act (LkSG)

Our Testo-LkSG complaints system is intended for reporting violations of laws or the Testo Code of Conduct for Business Partners/Suppliers and other internal guidelines. In particular, you can report facts, information or misconduct on the topics listed below as examples:

Slavery, child and forced labour;

Occupational health and safety and working hours;

Equal treatment of all employees free from any form of discrimination;

Granting of an appropriate wage, at least in the amount of the minimum wage stipulated by the applicable law;

Causing harmful soil change, water pollution, air pollution, harmful noise emissions or excessive water consumption;

Insufficiently environmentally sound handling, collection, storage and disposal of waste and the unauthorized export and import of hazardous waste

You can use the LkSG complaints procedure to quickly and easily report human rights or environmental concerns about misconduct.

However, the complaints procedure is not to be used for complaints about products, services, employees, etc. This means that messages and questions about product and system support, such as repairs and complaints, cannot be processed here. Please contact your Testo Sales partners for this purpose.

The complaints procedure may also not be used to knowingly make false accusations or knowingly report false information.

The complaints procedure has been set up for individuals who have received information about misconduct/compliance violations relating to human rights and environmental protection. Therefore, in addition to Testo employees, all other (external) persons can also use the complaints procedure and submit information and reports.

You as the complainant are protected by Testo. We do not tolerate sanctions against informants who report issues with a suspicion of misconduct to the best of their knowledge.

You therefore do not have to expect any disadvantages, provided that you have given your information based on concrete evidence and you are convinced of the accuracy of the information provided to the best of your knowledge and belief.

Your complaint will be submitted to the Testo Compliance Team.

You can also submit your complaint anonymously. In this case, however, the Testo Compliance Team has no opportunity to enter into a direct dialog with you, ask questions or request further information. We are also unable to provide you with any feedback on the further procedure and the results. However, if you wish to remain anonymous, please provide as much information, details and, if possible/available, documents to support your suspicions.

The Testo Compliance Team only has sufficient investigative approaches and options to punish and prevent violations and misconduct if it has sufficient concrete information.

If you wish to remain anonymous, please also make sure that you:

-        Do not create/submit your report from your employer's computer

-        Do not use a computer that is connected to a company network

-        Call up the Testo reporting system by directly entering the URL address www.testo.com/compliance and not by clicking on a link

-        Do not include any personal data in the report

If you have not submitted an anonymous report, Testo will first confirm receipt of your report promptly via your specified contact channel.

Furthermore, Testo will inform you about the planned/implemented follow-up measures after the appropriate processing time. The actual duration of the procedure depends on the subject matter of the complaint and may vary accordingly. In any case, Testo will endeavour to provide you with feedback on the follow-up measures initiated or planned no later than three months after receipt of the report.  Of course, this is only possible if you have not submitted the report anonymously.

The Testo Compliance Team will follow up on your reports of violations through internal investigations.

The confidentiality of your identity and your message will be protected. Thanks to encryption routines, only the members of the Compliance Team are party to this information. All data will be dealt with strictly confidentially.

The members of the Testo Compliance Team are obliged to maintain confidentiality and have sufficient expertise to process your reports.

However, fairness also requires that the protection of the interests of the affected ("accused") employees be taken into account. The presumption of innocence initially applies to these affected persons.

If misconduct is detected, follow-up measures will of course be initiated.
