The extension tube 1200 °C is available as an accessory for the industrial probe set 1200 °C and the heated industrial probe set.

For larger flue gas ducts, you can use the extension tube to adapt your industrial probe to the size of the flue gas duct. The industrial probes can therefore be extended to a max. length of 3 m.

The extension tube is identical to the probe shaft of the industrial probe set 1200 °C and can therefore be screwed onto it without a problem. Similarly, it can also be screwed very easily onto the probe shaft of the heated industrial probe set. However, please note that the extension tube itself is not heated.

In addition, a preliminary filter (optional) for measurements involving a high dust content can be installed on the extension tube.

You can use the extension tube – in conjunction with the appropriate industrial probe and measuring instrument – for the following applications:

• Measuring the furnace atmosphere
• Emissions measurement for efficiency monitoring / commissioning industrial plants
• Emissions measurements for the prior checking of limit values
• Emissions measurements for checking flue gas cleaning systems
• Emissions measurement to monitor prescribed limit values
