testo 340 - Mining Tuner Kit

testo 340 NO2 set
testo 340
The ultimate portable exhaust gas analyzer for mining applications. This kit is specifically configured for commissioning, tuning, troubleshooting, and maintenance tasks where reliable gas monitoring is critical to worker safety and efficient operation.
  • Reliably monitor hazardous gases (CO, NOx, O₂ and more) to protect worker safety in underground and high-risk mining environments
  • Measure accurately even at high gas concentrations with automatic dilution and range extension—ideal for volatile mining conditions
  • Configure up to 4 sensors to match specific mining applications, from ventilation checks to combustion tuning
  • Identify and troubleshoot gas buildup, air infiltration, and inefficient combustion processes in real time
  • Rugged, portable design built to withstand harsh, dirty mining environments while maintaining measurement accuracy
  • Built for harsh mining environments with a rugged, dirt-resistant design and reliable performance in the field
Mining environments present constant challenges due to hazardous gases such as CO, NOx, and oxygen-deficient conditions. The testo 340 can be configured to be the ideal combustion analyzer for mining tuning, combustion optimization, and portable emissions monitoring applications.

The testo 340 Mining Tuner Kit comes with the following items:
• testo 340 unit with O₂, CO, and NO2 sensors
• 13" Engine probe, 1832°F, 13-foot Teflon-lined hose – w/thermocouple
• Transport case
• Power supply
• Extra particle filters
• Bluetooth printer and spare thermal printer paper

Built to last
Long-life CO and NOx sensors (up to 5 years) help reduce cost of ownership. Field-exchangeable sensors provide flexibility and minimize downtime.
The automatic dilution (range extender) factor-5x increases the CO range to 50,000 ppm. The analyzer calculates and displays corrected values automatically. User-defined setpoints help extend sensor life while maintaining accurate measurements.

Rubberized shock-resistant housing and a protective clear over-plate help protect the analyzer in rugged mining environments. Rear housing magnets allow hands-free mounting for easier viewing.

Beneficial features and useful options:
• Back-lit customizable display with 4 to 8 lines of measurement data
• Displays values in ppm or selectable engineering units
• Calculates combustion efficiency, excess air, corrected NOx, and corrected CO values
• 18 selectable fuels
• Fresh air purge function increases sensor life and reduces unnecessary climbing or repositioning
• Onboard diagnostics for instrument status checks
• Draft, differential pressure, and mass emissions calculations (lbs/hr, tons/year) with optional Pitot tube Options:
• Low NOx or Low CO sensor options with 0.1 ppm resolution
• 9-foot hose extensions with integrated thermocouple (extend to 25 feet)
• Industrial probes from 3 to 9 feet long
• Probe temperature options from 1112°F to 3200°F
• External gas conditioning system for wet sources
• easyEmission software for real-time data logging and reporting
  • testo 340 unit with O2, CO and NO sensors
