Testo Calibrations

Testo South Africa offers SANAS accredited calibrations to a wide range of instrumentation from many manufacturers. Calibration is important to ensure you can be confident in your test instruments readings. It can increase the quality of your products, improve customer satisfaction, as well as demonstrating greater compliance during audits.

What is included in a Testo calibration:

  • Pre-calibration check

  • Calibration

  • SANAS calibration certificate

  • Yearly calibration reminder

Temperature

  • Immersion thermometers in the range of -30°C to 200°C

  • Data loggers (internal sensor) in the range of -25°C to 70°C

  • Data loggers (external sensor) in the range of -30°C to 200°C

  • Surface probe thermometers in the range of 0°C to 150°C, -20°C to 0°C (non-SANAS)

Humidity

  • Humidity meters in the range of 5%RH to 95%RH, over a temperature range of 10°C to 40°C

  • Humidity data loggers in the range of 5%RH to 95%RH, over a temperature range of 10°C to 40°C

Fluegas

  • The gas analyser cells we calibrate are O2, CO, CO2, NO, NO2, H2S (non-SANAS) & HC (non-SANAS)

  • Diagnostic & repair services

Infrared

  • Infrared thermometers (pyrometers) in the range of -20°C to 150°C

  • Thermal imagers in the range of -20°C to 150°C

Other parameters (traceable)

  • Pressure (non-SANAS)

  • Vacuum (non-SANAS)

  • Air-flow (non-SANAS)

On-site Calibration

  • Temperature - On-site

  • Humidity - On-site

  • Mapping – On-site (temperature and humidity)

  • Autoclaves (temperature mapping, pressure log and time log)

What is Testo Calibration?

Calibration involves the comparison of the reading by the instrument being calibrated with that of a reference instrument (also called reference standard) in specific conditions.

Other important aspects of calibration include documenting the deviation recorded between the measuring instrument being investigated and the reference standard, calculating the resulting measurement uncertainty and creating the calibration certificate.

The Testo calibration lab has state of the art reference equipment and technology to ensure we complete your calibration with a quick turnaround of five to ten business days and keep your instruments reading spot on.

We also store your previous calibration certificates on our server so if you happen to lose it feel free to call us and we can retrieve a copy for you.

Our Testo Calibration experts consist of qualified engineers who are specialized to both calibrate and adjust, where possible, your equipment using proprietary software available at our laboratory.

All of our calibration experts specialize in Testo instruments. This allows us to ensure that you, as a Testo customer, will receive their full attention. They are highly trained and are available to answer any questions you may have. This does however not limit us to calibrating/ adjusting non-Testo measuring instrumentation.

Our temperature, humidity and fluegas laboratories are SANAS accredited.
